Don't know, was supposed to be storming, it's really windy, but sunny and warm. Will see what the night brings. I would have waited and overseeded the lawn today instead of last night, but we were supposed to get rain yesterday and today and the next three or so. So far, nada, but wind. Lot's and lots of wind.

Yup, just got our storm warning on the TV. It's until 0300. Not sure what I can do, my house really isn't set up for tornado protection and well, in the dark can't exactly watch out for one. My parents house has one of the tornado warning sirens right next to them, so they can't miss a warning. Took their horses a while to get used to the monthly tests. Just heard about the one in Oklahoma. A lot of people already confirmed dead. Very sad. It looks like the system is really just getting started. Taking a second look, it's really blowing up fast Southwest of me it seems. Might have a couple of hours yet here, but a moment ago I would have thought 4, so this should be interesting. This is when I really wish I had bought a house with a basement. The really bad stuff right now is in Oklahoma and Texas right below. Looks like some is starting in Missouri. Everyone stay safe.

Everyone stay safe. The devastation coming out of OK is horrible to see. My heart goes out especially to those parents who have a child at that school...I can't imagine.
This is why our house WILL have a safe room or a basement. A friend of mine has a poured concrete safe room under her house with a separate, second entrance some feet out from the house (in case the house falls on the first entrance), along with generator electricity and oxygen, and that's exactly what I want as well. A tornado is not something to mess with, and we get them way too often in TN.

I've just been watching the news footage on Oklahoma. Terrifying.

Horrible, horrible! That huge twister made match sicks out of everything. And all those kids...I am speechless and heartbroken for all involved.

Very sad. We got lucky, mostly just wind, though on my route there were a few young trees snapped in half in one spot.
