Are you still waiting for the pics to develop? Now the question is does SMay need... more time to recover? a groom to help at shows? more time off? help building MiniSMay's trophy cabinet?

There is one pic on facebook. I think Smay is snubbing us lowly, non-EventingMoms exracers...

The photographer has her images very well protected, but if you want to see them, go to www.suzannefischer.com and you have to agree to not steal the images, and then go to the proofs and ordering link, and select Greater Dayton Horse Trials, and THEN you can find No. 118. haha I did buy the full CD of images because it was the first horse trial that Caroline has ever won. She was VERY excited. There were lots of entries. And she placed second in all divisions (3) only to a fabulous warmblood who got a 25 in dressage, so she was extra thrilled.

Great pictures! How do you pick? I didn't even notice Zen was gone for the weekend. Seriously, love Ghost, what a great horse for your daughter. ;D

Wow the photos are great! Not a one bad one, eh? No wonder you bought the CD. Too bad there are only the 3 from cross country. That's definitely the most exciting phase, the photographer should at least try to be near a couple (or more) fences, or have an assistant!

Haha Niaru, there's a COUPLE more XC pics on the third page, but you're right, the photogs kind of kept to the first few jumps on cross country-- I guess to save steps because the course was a straight mile, not a circuit, so they'd of had to really space themselves across the park. I kind of like the galloping shots on XC for some reason. I like how Ghost always looks real keen when he's galloping to the next jump. He loves cross country. We took off his martingale, and put him in a pessoa bit so he'd listen a bit more to her half halts but not feel trapped. He doesn't flip his head at all, but he does pull like a train when he thinks the pace is too slow!

Yay! Great photos. And I recognize the woman in the booth at dressage. Was Robin judging or scribing that day? She's a librarian, too!
Caroline looks regal, and Ghost is so athletic. A really nice pair.
