Oh I read that and love it. They made a movie out of it too. Movie was not so good.

Oh yes, I read the 3 books years ago, good ones! Maybe I should just re-read good stuff. I forget details so easily, it's (almost) like reading new material!

There's a pattern here, I seem to be hooked on trilogies.

Actually Bara I think it would be my old dog Rosie, she followed me everywhere and would not be left behind. When she died I had her cremated and she still sit near me here in the living room  She was my friend and great protector. Here she many years ago.   Love trilogy also. I think some day we should meet and write one of our own |

Bara my daemon would definitely be Stella! No question. Charm would be...a side kick? She'd have to have a role, somehow. She's such a good girl. (we had a great ride today!)

That was my crew at the the time,very early one morning Brian got up and took the picture starting at my head is Maggie Mae, then Hairball, then Katrina and then my dear Rosie. She followed me everywhere, I miss her alot.

I really should read them again, because I read them out of order...picked up and finished the 2nd one before realizing it was part of a trilogy, lol!
It's been a while too and since I am old and forgetful, it will feel brand new to me.

They make it too easy to buy books !!!!!!! Went looking last night for a ebook of the Golden Compass, mine is the whole trilogy in paperback and is very heavy to hold up to read. ( I am so spoiled now with my Kindle) Found it and two other books. I really have to get reading more.
