Impulsively, I bought a saute pan last week. It was red and pretty! And after testing it with eggs, sauteed veggies, bacon, etc., I love it. I'll buy the rest of the set now, too. Ever heard of Aeternum? It's ceramic-covered aluminum and they say it doesn't have all the bad chemicals of regular nonstick surfaces, apparently. I'm amazed that it really is nonstick and very easy to clean. I'm a happy cook! www.bialetti.com/aeternum-collection

Oooh they look good! I'll have to tell Oli. He has a thing about buying cookware, for some reason...He goes to Marshalls to buy pants, and comes back with a frying pan.

I found this in our Kroger grocery store! They didn't have the entire set (or maybe they did and I wasn't looking carefully.) Anyway, it was $30-something, which seemed reasonable. And it was so red! What should I make for supper tonight?

Not a bad price! They would go just perfectly with our red Le Creuset cookware. I love those, except they are SO heavy, they're like a kitchen gym!

I have some of their regular non-stick cookware sets. Bought it years ago at Target for a bargain. Heats really well, nothing sticks. Can't wait to hear how the ceramic coating works.

I think you'll find the exterior surface less durable than Le Creuset. I notice a couple of dings in the red coating already. But I'm still loving the cooking!

Brooks, you can find really nice, heavy dutch ovens at TJMaxx for really cheap!

Oh thanks Thea, I'll go look. Oh I love the Le Creuset and your right they are very heavy. If I actually cooked I would have a few pieces.

Ann, I have the same ones! I bought a small frying pan and a square griddle! They are AWESOME (so far). Sometimes I have bad luck with very non-stick cookware becoming slowly sticky! I guess from scratches or scrapes or burning the coating or something.... But so far, these are really nice and come clean easily!
