Ah yes. That is always tricky isn't it? The solution: buy a universal / international DVD player!
ps - I read The Secret Garden...didn't know there was a movie! I'll have to see if it's on Netflix...

Hmmm, have you tried playing it on your computer? Not as good as the big screen, though you may be able to hook the computer up to the new TV should that work. Just a thought, but nothing ventured nothing gained. ;D

Glad it worked. I sometimes watch movies on my Laptop on road trips. Have always wondered why they make it so DVD's only work in some countries and not all? Sure I've heard some of the excuses, but none really stand to reason.
