Ah, I hope they're right.
I couldn't help but thinking of cultures where, when the man died, everything he owned (including women, dogs, horses, gold...) was put in his grave....
Sorry. I want to believe the "broken heart" story.

;D Keep it on. But I have to have a wee think ... about how I get interred!

I'd have to think about it too. Cremation and scattering of ashes sounds good...

No, no, Claire. There weren't slaves in England, France or Italy in the 1400's. And why would you be buried hand in hand with a slave-girl?
No. It's Ab and Hel or Romeo and Juliet. Or some really loving couple.
;D

Yes, (or no~). I'd choose one of those cardboard box/ecologically friendly burials - but they don't do them in Shetland. I expect that the sheep wouldn't like it! So I'd have to be shipped back to the mainland, which sort of defeats the object .... and I'm not sure I'd be looking my best.... Oh, I have an idea! I'll have myself shipped to Jeremy Kyle! You MUST watch THAT show! ;D Not really planning on shuffling off this mortal coil in the near future.

Cremated. Hubby & I were laughing, saying that we will mingle our ashes & distribute them among our kids. However, I've found this: www.thespiritree.com/ - so I'm thinking we will mingle our ashes & then be made into a tree. :-)
