How can anyone feel good about doing something like that, no matter the perceived reason. Crazy.
Thoughts to everyone that was there and the family and friends of those that were there.
Just crazy.

Shocking. Quite shocking, the world has gone mad.
I haven't heard of anyone claiming reposibility. You're right, Brooks, it's cowardly.
There's talk of cancelling the London Marathon.
Deepest sympathy to all those affected in Boston.

I so wholeheartedly agree with the bombing being a cowardly and so evil happening. Thoughts and prayers for any and all who are in need of them.

I understand the reasons for cancelling marathons. But part of me wants everyone in every place to go out and run or walk a marathon next week. I want to be in solidarity with Boston, and defy terror.
Don't try to reason with me. It's not about logic.

I'm in awe of the use of resources to identify the criminals in just a matter of hours. I'm also impatient that they catch that second one. Hopefully alive, so we can find out "why?"

Exactly, Smay! I was very impressed at the speed in identifying them and catching one! Hopefully there won't be any more shoot outs...
And yes, why? And did they catch an "accomplice" also, or is that yet another misinformation? I think journalists should be a lot more careful before spreading words that might not be facts.
When I drove home from work there were signs on the road saying "Avoid Boston area - Listen to media". Boston was pretty much on lock down, although they were allowing commuters to go home.

It's hard to do anything without being seen these days. Kinda scary in a Big Brother way, but sometimes kinda good at catching the bad guy. I guess it's finding the balance between the two? Sounds like they have the two brothers, OK the one has died, and perhaps some others that were involved as well? Still makes no sense.

I watched the stand-out / capture of the younger brother on TV, and was impressed with the reaction of by-standers as the police force were leaving the site afterwards. Everyone was clapping and cheering for them. It was heartwarming to see.
I hope this leads to some answers as to why, and whether there are others involved...
