Nothing fancy, gotta make sure you aren't bidding against ghosts or the owners of the stuff sometimes, but can be a fun day out and bargains can be had. Especially on the used stuff. Starts around 9AM. The horses aren't usually many, but it is a hazard. Especially if you are drawn to hard luck cases.

so zen, are you telling us you might get another horse? Not a chance! Just got told there's another auction on the 27th at the Will County Fairgrounds. Thinking I might give them a shot at selling a few things I have. They can't do any worst then the one at Grundy does. The problem is, if you aren't a friend of the people running Grundy's they don't really try hard to get you much for your stuff.

Didn't buy a horse. Heck, didn't buy anything. OK left before being tempted to buy a Morgan/Quarter horse. Horses going way too cheap. Good thing I forgot my check book, so that helped a little.
