For those looking. It 's "The Orchardist", about a man in Oregon in the late 1800s who take in 2 runaway child prostitutes. Lowkey, but it is really drawing me in.

adcooper, do you work in a library?
I work in a library, and I picked up this book the other day, the cover caught my eye. Sounds good. Will have to add it to my reading list for 2013.

Bonesmom, sorry I just saw this post! Yep, I work in a public library in Ohio. Youth services, plus reference, plus a bit of supervision, plus everything else! How about you?

I also work in a public library, in British Columbia. I work at the desk in circulation as a library assistant.
I am neither a librarian nor library technician.
Hoping to get into grad school.

You should do it! Another member of this board, ClaireLV, has completed her MLIS degree, and I will finish mine this year. (I have the title Librarian I now, but will have a professional status in my system when I graduate.) Where would you do your degree/ So much can be done online now.

There are a lot of schools in Canada, but honestly, it all depends on where my boyfriend gets in. If he gets into a school in Ontario, I have lots of options there. But, I am also very interested in schools in the US too.
