mmmm I started Justine. Having problems. Can''t get into it. Well written, but too much belly-button gazing for my taste...Are the next books in the same vein?

Or is it because I just finished Unbroken (by Laura Hillenbrand, the one who wrote Seabiscuit - Unbroken is just an AMAZING story. It will be made into a movie, I'm sure. ) and it's too much of a different style?

In the meantime, I started The Calligrapher's Daughter. Much easier to read. lol

kaidensmom: Any stories or experience with a horse with strangles that is SOB? Gelding is currently hospitalized. On Penicillin and wasn't getting better so the vet just started horse on IV doses of DMSO. The abcesses are pharyngeal. Mar 13, 2017 22:41:03 GMT -5
