Oh Lord in Heaven. What an ugly little man. Squished up little face, sticky-outy ears and ... a tight little suit. Bond? James Bond?

Oh yes, he was great in Casino Royale (sp?) He's not the classy bond your use to but he does a great job.

And speaking of Sean ... Another wonderful book and BBC film : The Name of the Rose. Umberto Eco. Dark, dark, dark - a dark ages whodunnit. Connery was great. You may recogise the young lad. Close to your period, Claire. Now, let's see if I can find a clip... No, they've all been blocked. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Name_of_the_Rose

Oooh I loved that book Bara! I *think* I might have seen the movie, years ago...my memory fails me. Even tho I actually enjoyed Daniel Craig as Bond, I agree, we need a new classy Bond. But who? let's hear/see your pics....

It's worth watching again! Rosicrucians, Spanish Inquisition, witches being burned, the young Christian Slater and Sean Connery as a medaeival monk, sleuthing- right up your rue!
Re the new Bond? Someone completely different. How many can you remember?
Connery Moore Timothy Dalton (dirty finger nails)
I can't remember! I know it's rude, but I just think Daniel Craig is plain UGLY! I know, I know ....

You forgot Pierce Brosnan!
Gah I hated him even more than I hated Tim. Dalton! Moore made me laugh. He was just so not-credible as a tough-as-nail spy....lol
Connery is a tough act to follow!

Oh yes, I forgot Brosnan.. Well, he was quite pretty. I've tried to forget Roger Moore .... Ann, you are faithful. I applaud you! You must see Sean in Name Of The Rose. The man can act! My favourite character is 'Stupido'. He is anything but. Now. The next Bond? This won't be a popular choice, but I'd say Depp. I think he is a magnificent character actor - a chameleon. I reckon he could switch from Captain Jack to Monte Carlo flawlessly! ... and he can do an English accent better than Mr C! (Sorry, Ann!!)

I hate to say this but I loff Daniel Craig. Maybe because more than one person has remarked on a likeness to my husband. Hubby also gets told he looks like "House" frequently.

Daniel Craig is OK, but I often like the not so classically handsome guys. Pierce was the worst mistake ever for a Bond, but all the Remington Steele fans so wanted him as James Bond. Just too much of a pretty boy for the role. OK, I did like him in Mama Mia, but that made more sense then James Bond. I actually liked Timothy Dalton, but he wasn't given the best scripts. Roger Moore was the first Bond I actually saw, plus he was given some of the perfect quirky plots that worked for his Bond quite well. Later of course, met Sean's Bond and well, common he has that voice...
