A friend gave me this book and I was wondering if anyone else had read it. Is it worth the read?

I read it! It started off slow, but turned out okay.
It did NOT come close to the "grown up Harry Potter" the critics promised...
The story Concept was wonderful-all sorts of great ideas, but it kind of fell flat for me...
But I AM waiting for the second book!

I believe it's going to be a trilogy. The second comes out in July.

Yep! A trilogy!
Great for those of us with memory problems!

I just read this and while it wasn't incredible, I did like it. The female lead annoys the crappola out of me at times, but it held my interest well enough and I will buy the next one which goes on pre-sale July 10th.
I think I liked it because of all the history involved and the author is known for her historical books. This is her first non-fiction book I believe. I'm a bit worried about the next book since it will take place way back when. I fear it will either be very very good or very very bad...lol.

Oo thanks!
I just looked last week to see if it was out-off to buy it on my ebook.
