I've ridden in my trainer's Stubben which is bare bones, no knee rolls, super close contact, and in another with small knee rolls and a padded seat (I liked). I haven't had the opportunity to ride in anything else, but am open to suggestions. I'll need an 18" seat and a 31 tree to fit Chaos' shark fin. Anyone have anything they are interested in selling? Update: Found my saddle, thanks all!!

I have an Albion Platinum Genesis, 18". This has the interchangeable tree; right now it is a medium-wide. Very nice condition. Asking $2400 plus shipping. These go new for about 3500.

Thanks numerologist. That's a little out of my price range right now but I'd love to be able to afford it Guess I should add I'm looking to stay at or under $1000.

I don't know how soon you need the saddle, but I'm going to be selling my Schleese JES once I find a replacement (probably next month). It is an 18" and Schleese saddles can be fitted to the horse. I bought it because I was used to riding in an fairly open monoflap with no knee roll. This saddle has a pretty open seat and the JES is a popular Schleese saddle (it's not made any more). They are heavy and not cushy for sure, but sooo well made. It's an older saddle, but it's been great for me. It will go for probably $900.00 tops.
What is your body type like? This has stirrup bars that are a bit further back for longer thigh types and a slightly more forward balance. I have small blocks on it and it came with med that I still have. It's probably a med narrow twist.

Luci that sounds dreamy!! I actually found a saddle on Sunday though....posted a picture in the forum of it ("Score!!"). It's a yummy, practically brand new Passier Lenox that I got for a steal. Rode in it again last night and it's like a big hug for my bum LOL. I'm finding that the minimal knee roll is helpful to an old lady like me. Thank you for the offer though!!

Yea! Glad you found one you like. It makes such a difference. I love Passiers.
