Most embarassing horse pictures

I was going to do one of a great crash where I leaned, my horse stopped, and I hit the liverpool, but I think this one is actually more emabarassing.

It was for a jumping class for $25,000! You and a partner dressed up, and had to jump a course in the fastest time, so one person would jump fences 1-2-3-4 and then the other do 5-6 and so on. We actually won best costume, but my partner was a guy, so I think that's what won it for us.

OH! You have those in the US, too?! Those are fun! Although we only did that at small shows (no money involved whatsoever). I once rode as a Russian girl (with skirt and all) and my sister as a "grandma" in her bathrobe and hair rolls and big slippers -- don't know how they fit in the sitrrups

But the funniest was a team of 2 of our (male ) friends: one was dressed as a cabaret dancer, with high heels, faux boobs, see-through thighs etc, etc and the other one was costumed as an Alsatian girl: he wore long blond tresses and the traditional Alsatian costume, dress and little shoes. The fun part was that he was from Algeria. LOL! They ended up winning the 4'3 class. Now I have a lot of respect with that guy who jumped in high heels!!!

Have a friend who went as Lady Godiva... when a spectator asked the judge what he thought about the way the horse moved, he said "What horse?"
