The full title is Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World that Can't Stop Talking. I rarely read books like this one, in fact I've always been a bit skeptical of the Myers-Briggs personality "types." But I am certainly enjoying this book which explores introversion, and suggests how our culture came to see quietness as weakness, and boldness as a very desirable trait. It also helps me see why I come home from work completely drained, even though my work is not terribly physical and not (I have to admit it) rocket science. I'd probably be much happier if I could work in a more solitary place--at least part of the day. (If you thought libraries were quiet, please visit mine, especially during the after school hours! ) I keep reading bits aloud to Bruce (who is very extroverted). Look! I say. This is ME , and that is YOU ;D.

I think you may have lost me. I'll give it a go. I wouldn't have put your Bruce as an extrovert.
I'm back into Kafka - 40 years on. It makes a weee bit more sense, now, but not alot. Reading The Trial. Depressed. I think I remember how it ends.
