OH GREAT NOOOOOWWWW you sell her! I wanted her bad a while back when I was looking!!! hahahaa She is a beautiful, gorgeous big mare. I'm sure she'll be sold in a wink. Dang it. And our instructor was looking for a draft cross mare for a YEAR, too...what she ended up with was a totally unpredictable Georgian Grande (saddlebred/draft) mare, who has a hair trigger to rear and/or bolt. I'm sure she wishes she could have bought Bella!

Wow...I'm in love. THis is the perfect husband horse and I sadly had to part with my pmu a few years ago and not a day goes by that I don't regret doing it. Does she hold her weight okay in pasture?

The problem would be that she paid $6500 for the Georgian Grande... who is almost impossible to ride "out" She would probably never be able to get her money even CLOSE to back by selling her.... Bella is offered at a very reasonable price, by the way.

Well I'm a huge fan of a good draft cross. My PMU boy is the live of my life and were showing first level now! If you were nearer and shipping wasn't so expensive...

Pretty pretty mare!
I just shipped a horse from Arizona to Ohio and it wasn't that expensive. Guess that's slightly enabling.

Do you keep her shod or is she barefoot? I'm trying to talk my SO into getting her, but we really need to wait until January because I'm due to have a baby in less than 2 weeks And I need to make sure we have pasture available where I board....

I know skye pilot. It's really weird to think of her not out in our pasture. Has been here since she was a yearling and I was at the weanling sale when she first was sold here in Michigan straight off the PMU farm. She is just the nicest big mare but the wide part and my hip just aren't in agreement. I had injections done and they don't hold up more than 4-6 wks it isn't fair for her to just sit here in the pasture. I could call the place that has her sister but they have her sister using her as an embryo transfer mare for fancy friesans. Would love to see my big girl out doing something she loves to go places and see things and most of all loves to be loved on!! Oh and eat...eating is right up there on her list of good things... Sounds like I have a lot in common with your dear mare. Eating is on my list of good things too. Hope she finds the perfect home, she seems like a once in a lifetime mare.

I can't believe no ones snapped her up. I do heart her and she'd look so nice in my pasture next to the MacPonie. Shipping is about $1 a mile and that's a couple thousand miles.

Thanks everyone, I pulled the ad down because had a wonderful person looking at her just had to go through a few steps to make sure she and Bella were a match after she has had some issues with a previous horse. Bella vetted nicely for them last week and is in her new home with an amazing new "mom" she will be very very well taken care of I have no doubts. Will be slowly listing my "big horse" stuff for sale since no longer have anyone on the farm to fit it.
