So I need advice on how to eat healthy on a very tight budget. I have cut out all non essential items. Like cable, internet, a/c. Don't tuen on lights, and only shower at the gym. Not enough, so I need to cut back on food. I have been sick, so its not a concern now, but how do I continue to eat healthy on about 50 bucks a month. I can do frozen veggies peretty cheap, but fresh fruits and veggies are pretty expensive. I am looking for chicken when it's on sale, and brown rice, what else cold I buy to stay in to 50 bucks a month budget. My mom wants to buy me food, but I don't want to have to ask my mommy to help me. This is almost a agony, but I just don't know what to do.

One thing you can do (one of my favourite $$ savers) if you like peppers: pick them up on sale and make a mix of cooked rice and ground meat and steam them until cooked through the stuffing mix and freeze the things. Or make a giant casserole of chopped peppers and the meat/rice mix and peppers, cook, and portion into serving sized packages. Simple, cheap and a one dish meal. Same can be done with many strong flavoured veg.
