For years I have been using an ivermectin-anthelcide-strongid rotation. I went to buy anthelcide, and the store owner said they no longer stock it b/c of problems with colic. When I researched this on the web, I found a similar issue with Strongid. Anybody know anything about this?

I have used Anthelcide for years also and never had any problems with it. I know several other horse owner's who have used it, too. Never knew there was any problems with it.

Never had an issue here either. But I would guess like all dewormers, if your horse has a high worm count and you give a full dose as the worms die and pass it would cause colic symptoms.
