"Shirley's Call" earned his keep the hard way - he raced for 10 years, over 119 races retired sound. He is 15 and needs a job - capable of packing kids and beginners up to 2'6" (haven't tried higher) or can go western (he's 15.3 and stocky)...but he's the kind of horse that can't just be left to stand around, he wants to do something! He's UTD on shots has a current coggins, and is in good condition, not skinny or unsound but hasn't been ridden much in the last year. His tail needs some regrowth because he had a donkey as a roommate until recently.

I'm just bumping this because we can't find a spot for this guy. He's a GREAT horse - great mind and healthy as can be....utd...handsome...all the TB placements spots are full or worried about winter. I don't want this guy to go on Craig's List where he can get lost  The owner needs him placed by October. |

He's free to the best home but he may be placed soon. Thank goodness. I don't need another horse! If anything changes, I'll update. Thanks M for posting the picture for me! |
