Here's the problem, my TB is the biggest baby when it comes to flies. He gets a fly on him and he freaks out. It's to the point where I question riding him when it's warmer out. I have tried different sprays with no luck. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a link to an article on apple cider vinegar for horses. Apparently it renders their blood less appeating to insects seeking a blood meal. A guy at our barn adds it to his horse's water and I have recently started adding it to my TB's feed, so it's too soon to tell whether it is reducing the bites. He doesn't freak out, but each bite develops a sizeable welt, so I'm eager for a solution too. www.divinecaroline.com/22329/73772-apple-cider-vinegar-horses
