I'm looking to find the perfect home for Panda
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and can't ride anymore...haven't ridden since Dec '09 other than a couple pony rides...
Panda is just toooo gorgeous to let her sit in my pasture forever!!
She's a gorgeous mover, very free in the shoulder, and a GREAT hind leg.
My instructor always says she has one of 'The' best hind legs she's seen - even in Germany!
Panda hasn't been ridden since Dec '09, but is looking and feeling great in the pasture.
10yr, 16h, OTTB, bay mare.
Approved Oldenburg (GOV) and Rheinland~Phalz~Saar (RPSI) with flying colors - GOVE said "THIS is what we need in TB mares to improve type and add blood."
VERY pleasant mare, not mareish at all.
Lower on the totem pole.
Perfect for farrier, vet, repro vet, etc.
Perfect manners, loads, clips, etc.
Wonderful mother - would be VERY content to be a broodie.
I just can't afford to breed her right now and it's a waste to have her sit.
In great health, up to date on everything (other than spring shots will happen in April) teeth done in Oct, feet done every 5 weeks.
Has GORGEOUS big feet - sound barefoot in full work.
I'm looking for someone experienced with TBs - she is sensitive in the GOOD TB way.
Tries VERY hard - would probably try past her limit.
Bright and really enjoys her work time.
NOT confident, so needs a confident rider and then she's fine.
I had her going solid 1st level with a lot of 2nd level started when I stopped riding. Lovely swingy back, great push.
She also jumps- I don't jump, so didn't do a lot of training, but enjoys free jumping quite a bit!! (and will jump just for fun in the indoor)
Happy out 24/7 - also stables fine.
Goes out alone or with mares/geldings/babies - great for putting manners on babies.
She is a smaller mare - takes up my leg (5'8") just fine, but is short backed, so needs a smaller saddle (or cutback saddle)
I REALLY, REALLY like this mare, so am hoping she can go to one of the exracers or someone else we trust!
Thanks for any help!
