This mare is extremely lucky - she has been a broodmare her entire life and produced a few really nice babies. Last month we got word she was heading to a local auction - unfortunately there was a huge snowstorm and we we had to turn around halfway there. We tried to put a phone bid in on her and we were outbid by the KB. A few days later we were able to track her down at a local feedlot where she was a day away from shipping to Canada. We bailed her out and are now offering her to a loving home. We realize times are tough and space and finances are limited. It's extremely difficult to place older, untrained broodmares with slightly swayed backs. I figured I'd post, just in case someone could open their home and heart to this gal who deserves to be loved. She is open and has produced stakes winning babies.
