When did I become a nonfiction reader!?
So this book is about a small town in Vermont, the same size as our town. Lots of economic woes, unemployment, etc. Then some local food producers got busy and now they have organic farmers, cheese makers, shared processing facilities for farmers, agricultural education programs, etc., etc. Apparently this little place has become important in it's own unique way. I just started the book, so don't know much about it yet, but it sure seems interesting. Anyone else read this?
