Halo is a 16.1 hand 6yr old OTTB gelding. His last race was in September. Halo is sound and ready to start a new career. He has no vices. This gelding is proving to be incredibly sweet and trusting. At some point in his life he learned to be very mannerly and allow his human to work on him without issue. He even stood quietly in his stall for chiropractic adjustments without a halter on. Halo has had his teeth floated, he had his feet shod and had been acupunctured as well as had two chiropractic sessions. He's turned out with a buddy and seems to be adjusting well. I think he'll be a nice retrain because he doesn't over react to anything and seems to take everything in with a calm disposition. Priced at $1000 for a simple, quick sale. Located in Lisbon, OH 44432

I don't know what is happening to me. I have never been a fan of Grey horses but lately, it seems, I am seeing so many nice looking ones. This guy has such a sweet, gentle looking face. Love his dark legs. Why all the chiropractic sessions?

Each horse that comes into the barn gets a chiropractic evaluation when they arrive. In most cases they have something bugging them and I want them to be at their best when I show them to possible buyers. Some horse may seem to have a limited amount of talent or may not have the biggest stride because they need to be adjusted. This horse came in looking like he should be able to reach further out with his front legs (based on his conformation) and he was a bit "hocky" behind. Turns out his neck was "out" in several places including where it ties into his shoulder. That can most definitely affect his movement. Very rarely do I have a new horse come in that does NOT need to be adjusted. His disposition was already good but he was standoffish. Now he's more interested in people and he really likes being groomed and messed with. He still needs a few sessions to really get those adjustments to stick. Once I start riding him (only delayed due to the COLD) I'll be able to stretch him from the saddle which should help too.
