A TB mare I helped place a few years ago is now desperate for a new home.
2002, 16.1hh grey mare, "Spanish Candy". She had a fractured pelvis on the track, but was cleared for breeding and was sound in retraining before she was sold 4-5 years ago. The current owner lost her papers, and says that she is stiff in the LH. She is a lovely mare, and is located in southern Wisconsin. Needs a new home by THURSDAY.
Please contact me if you can help.

I can keep her here for no cost for a month or so if anyone can go get her but needs a place for her for a bit. She just needs a ride and a good forever home. I have no interest in getting her for myself after dispersing most of my own herd, but I WILL keep her here to know she's safe until a permanant placement can be found. I can probably help the new owner get replacement JC papers, as well.
I haven't seen her since we rehomed her several years ago, so I cannot attest to her current condition, but I will try and get pics.

I hope she can find a perfect home for her. I hope she is not in pain.

We found a perfect home for her, and she is now being loved on and spoiled. She was in good shape, all things considered, and won't be going anywhere anytime soon!

I am so happy to hear that. Thank you for updating. I often wonder about horses that have been posted on here. I love happy endings.
