Alexander Cabot is a lovely 6 yr tb who is a big bodied 16.1 h with big bone, nice feet, big barrel and a big butt. He trained at the track as a 2 yr but managed to cut himself and required extensive stitches so they decided not to race him. He is owned by a vet in the local practice and is sound with no vices. Sweet as can be! Very well broke with a comfortable w/t/c and he accepts the contact nicely. Moves well off the leg both directions. He is on the pokey side but not at all dead. He is honest to the jumps and is one of those horses that just canters down in the same rhythm never offering to speed up. His owner did more ring work/trailriding and some mock foxhunts with him and not a lot of jumping. He has picked right up on the jumping and is jumping boxes, flowers, coops and more at my farm so he just needs a refresher. I see him being a lovely event horse, local hunter, eventer or foxhunter. He loves to trail ride and has a great brain. Not at all spooky and has a great personality. More of the push type of ride for those who prefer the quieter Tb's.
