Mister Man has the runs! His diet has been the same in all the 5 years I have had him, he was wormed 30 days ago and gets wormed every 60 days, he already had his vaccines, which were done end of March. Other horses on the same oat hay as him and stool is fine. What do you guys think it could be? Should I maybe invest in some Pro Biotics?

The following article is a bit long, but explains some gut function and how water in the manure is regulated. The author (a vet) says too hard or too wet manure is a sign of something out of balance in digestion and recommends pro-biotics to re-populate the gut with 'good' bacteria. We tend to get a bit of a runny stool around this time of year when the first of the new season's hay is fed, so we introduce it slowly, mixing with old hay. Good luck. preview.equisearch.com/resources/expert/runny_manure_092508/
