Mozambique aka "Oliver/Poetic Justice"

Oliver was bred in the south in Porto Rico and brought over to the United States to race. He was not successful in his eleven starts and made just over 6 thousand. Once done he ended up where I found him in someones backyard ready for a new life and new home. I was only around 11 when he came into my life and he was to much horse for me so in the end Theresa ended up with him. Once a better rider Oliver and I became such a great team, winning many classes and bonding in a way I didn't think possible after the sale of my second horse. Oliver got rid of a lot of the fear that I had grown and completely showed me how a horse could really impact your life. I will never be more thankful for the number of years I had with this old soul. In the end with a sickness that caused him to loose weight one night he choked and it caused him to get pneumonia in 2008 resulting in his passing. I miss him everyday, and its true only the good die young.

Thanks Deb, its really hard for me to watch it. I usually get half way through then have to turn it off.
