OK, this is an unusual but VERY GOOD book that is a quick read and worth it. We had it at work for our book club, and I grabbed an extra copy and read it in two lunch hours, so a real quick read. Very good true story of a lady in Maine who becomes a Game Warden Chaplain after losing her state trooper husband to a work-related auto accident. ( it was something HE wanted to do, so after his death, she decides to do it herself). There are quite a few places in the book where you are literally cracking up on one page, then tearing up on the very next page. Extremely well written.

Yes, that book was on my "to read" list, I don't know how I let it slip through the cracks. Maybe because they didn't have it at my local library. Will pick it up after I'm done with my current series. thanks for reminding me!

A freind loaned it to us when Bruce started his chaplaincy program. We loved it. Just as you say, a book that's so much fun to read, and don't you just want to have coffee with Kate?
