Cody was and had been the most remarkable horse to cross paths with between him, Max and I, plus our Grand Daughters. I also included a picture of the Little horse " that could", Holly. Max and I had to let Cody cross the "Rainbow Bridge" yesterday. I'm sorry, but at this point I'm way to emotional to say any furtherer. Candy is still here, but I worry she may grieve herself to a large degree. I'm just not up it now, everyone. I'll update on when I can function more settled emotionally.

Thank You, Terrie for your reassurance that we did the right thing. I had been anticipating his coming up with a severe injury, because of his being blind. He hung on for 3 years being blind. It was just a matter of time.
I included the picture of Holly, the "little Horse that could", because she deserves mention in a Memorial, too. She carried my Grand Daughter on many trail rides and Saddle Club games. Holly was stout enough to carry my weight so I kept her in an easy-going state of mind for the kids who rode her here. I sold Holly to a niece of mine to buy Will, the TWH. Only 8 weeks after Holly went to live with my niece I got word that Holly had "passed over the Rainbow". An autopsy was done and she had massive internal injuries. It was obvious she had damaged herself escaping from her stall over the top of it to get away from a pack of feral dogs or coyotes. She had moved many miles from here, but still close to my heart.
