This was on my Morgan dressage list and I thought I'd post it here just in case anyone has either tried it or wants to add Wet Ones Baby Wipes to their horse boo-boo kits. Hey, since it is opened up, you can try my other cheap cure all. <LOL> Folks laugh at me, but my vets sure don't anymore. That is wet ones baby wipes. I pack wounds with them, and they keep the skin healthy and foster really good healing. I have pictures of some fo the wounds those simple wet ones with furazone have healed. I have made wet dressings with duct tape for abdominal wounds, leg wrappings for leg wounds etc. I have hardly even any scar from it. The vet was sure the one wound on my friend's TB, a big triangular gash at her abdomen with big flap of skin hanging woulod require surgery and the flap would die. Using the wet ones on both sides of the dlap and packing inside as well, it took 2 months, but today, you can hardly see a scar and there was no surgery. The vet was amazed. We took pictures as we went along. Has to be that brand by the way, other brands don't work. Helga Loncosky FM BOD Member Beacon Morgans - Home of Gray Morgan Stallion S.C. I do that too, Luci!!! Between Wet Ones and Schreiners topical spray, Lincoln's clumsiness is pretty well taken care of! Thanks for posting!
