Steel...... most of you know his story. Racehorse, jumper, 2nd level dressage horse, rescue horse, then, finally, my first horse. He was only with me for 9 months, and then I had to let him go due to complications from his megaesophagus and a severe hock injury. He died knowing he was loved, finally, after 2 years spent in a rescue. I miss him a great deal.
