I bought Starr sight unseen from a farm in MA in Feb. 03-I fell in love with her after seeing a pic posted on the CanterNE website. Starr was the "dream" horse, she literally would follow me like a puppy and always nickered when I would go feed her. But from the day she arrived to the day she died, I fought a constant battle with her to gain weight and she never did. Even my vet couldnt figure out why. The last year I had her-I had her boarded at a nearby farm in hopes that maybe they could get weight on her, but it was not to be-she passed away while there.RIP Starr-I miss you so.
