Hi all - New Vocations has recently posted a horse we had in the clinic and I thought by posting here he might get a few more looks! He had a condylar fracture and was going to be euthanized - we did the surgery and he has been rehabbed and now he needs a home! His fracture did great and he should be sound for anything anyone wants to do with him... The description is right on target - he acts like a tough guy, but he's really harmless! horseadoption.com/metinicus/

OMG - they posted videos of him free-jumping and jumping under saddle. Too cute!

Metinicus is still on their website and another horse we had is there too - Point to the Red. They were both sweet and should be sound for anything! :-)

Point to the Red is just beautiful, and very well bred!! Animaldoc, how is his temperament? Any particular vices you knew of? I'll write to NV about him...
MTA: I just read on Equineline he was a Ridgeling...wonder if he had the surgery? He sounds sweet though.

Point to the Red was a good guy - his description on NV website is on the mark. Friendly, mature for his age and had a good head on his shoulders. I've heard he's doing very well at NV.
We gelded him a few weeks after his fracture repair - I don't remember him being a cryptorchid, but I can look.
