How do you adjust the tree? can you do it your self, um is there a new piece you have to get if you need a med or wide tree? I know a narrow will not work for my horse, and I would need to try it to know for sure if it would work, so I don't know where to go from here, let me know if you truly think it might work. thanks

Which saddle are you referring to? The Keiffer would need to be adjusted by a professional saddler, as would the Passier. The Wintec jump saddle has the Wintec Easy Change gullet system.
I did just consign the Kieffer at my local saddle shop, and have to leave it there for 30 days. If that's the one you're interested in, let me know, if it doesn't sell we can work something out.
Thanks!

Im gonna keep an eye on the passier- did you have it posted for sale before putting up on ebay? I've been looking for a saddle that has similar knee rolls as yours.

Shoot, Laugh, I've had the Passier up here for awhile! It's at a whopping $100 now, maybe you'll get it cheaper than what I had it listed for here. Also, I think the tree is more of a medium. I used it on Jag when he was at his skinniest, but had to use a Mattes correction pad with shims. I also rode another horse in it - a QH who was considerably rounder than Jag was at that time, and it worked well on that horse. Jag is much fitter now, to the point of outgrowing the Kieffer, and when I plunked this on him last week it looked pretty good. What that you that sent me a message about the knee blocks on Ebay? They're pretty substantial. I took a bunch of pictures of it, all are here, they may give you a better idea: www.flickr.com/photos/skerik/tags/passier/

I hate when I miss things on here sometimes........ No that wasnt me that asked. My ebay name is This_n_that81. Dottie is a big girl, but she has the withers of some of her TB heritage, hehe. So although most people think she would take a wide saddle..... she actually fits well in a medium to medium wide. Anayway, Im gonna keep my eyes on it.
