Someone left one at the Inn I work at and so far has not try to claim it-it is in lost and found-It is awful but I hope no one calls -It needs a battery charger-what kind do I need to get?

Go to Amazon- I'll bet they sell just the charger. I'll bet, however, that if you fired it up you could figure out who it belongs to. The Kindle has to be registered with Amazon to order books.
That said, I absolutely ADORE my Kindle! If it were mine that was left behind, I would make my husband go back for it.

Can't you tell from registration records who was in the room where the Kindle was found? My husband left a bunch of clothes in a drawer at a motel one time. The staff kindly packaged everything and sent it to him. He sent them a big box of candy as a thank you.
