Okay, I need some group support to get (stay) motivated! So I thought we could all post our goals and encourage each other. For me: ~Lose 15-20 lbs. ~Cut out all pop ~Stop eating fast food ~No more caffeine Who's next?

OK I need to lose about 60 lbs I want to walk 5 miles a day, and start doing hikes Do a better job remembering to eat, and what to eat. I'm sure there is more, but this will do for now.

I want to lose 10 pounds. And then stop regaining it. Weight Train 3 days a week Some type of aerobic 2 days per week. Not including riding. Lay off sugar-it only makes me crave more and it makes me feel yucky-lethargic and down right depressed. Add more fruits and veggies.

Lose weight, eat better, get more sleep!, stress less...the usual I usually disappoint myself if I set specific goals, so I'll keep them sketchy.

Well is anyone doing any off the things we said we would do? I still just can't get myself up in the morning. I will be glad when the time change comes. At least when getting up. I have been in a real rut lately. Too much stress in my life.

I've been doing a little better about eating healthy - I eat fast food far less, and have been trying to limit myself to 1 can of pop a day - cutting it out completely didn't work. I'm not sure where I'm at on the weight loss....I'm trying to cut back on portions at least.

I'm walking on my lunchbreaks on the bridle trails at a local park, and eating breakfast, really lite lunch (if at all) and healthier dinner. Sleep I've been getting better with, and stress...well, we'll see...the bosses at work are really ramping it up, so I guess there's a negative in that department!

Um...exercising and eating healthy for me needs to commence (or re-commence) this week. That's all I'm gonna say about that. And, WHY did my parents put cheesecake in the fridge??

My goal is to STOP. EATING. Brussels cookies and gummy bears!
And walk more, and every day.

Here's my goals. I need to:
Lose 60 pounds That is to be accomplished by eating better and exercising more. My diet is actually good, as far as what I eat, EXCEPT at the vulnerable night time junk out, which affects my sleep and my weight. Thankfully, I quit gaining after my longtime smoking quit, but now is the time to get this off once and for all! I think what I needed was to be back here for motivation!

Once I'm back home (I'm out of state right now), I need to get back on the program. Mine isn't so much about losing weight, doctor has stated that I'm pretty much always going to be around the same weight. I'd like to lose a size (or two) and more importantly, feel better about my body.

Okay, I swear I wouldn't join anything like this... but what can I say, I love you guys AND I think that if I write down my goals, I'll be more incline to keeping them! My goals are: Loose at least 25 pounds. Get in WAY better riding shape. And, along with the above, in the meantime, get my horses in way better shape, and start my coming- 4 year old over fences. Currenly, I have been doing 2-4 miles on the treadmill at least 3x a week pluse some weights (3 pounds to tone, but not bulk) and workout with an exercise ball (if you don't have one-- get one! They are great for working those horse-ring muscles!). Good luck to everyone!

I have 25 lbs , and I will be considered within normal weight. I would like to push that to 40-45 lbs total I need to lose. I have started walking daily, yoga and aerobics 4 times a week, and weight 3 times a week. Im not really pushing myself too hard because I need to build some muscle and endurance. I am giving myself 6 months to lose the weight, so about 7 lbs a month.

Kimmie, keep away from the junk food and pop. If you can just stop eating convenience foods, you will feel good and lose weight. Really.
Try reading The Omnivore's Dilemma, or even The Omnivore's Dilemma for Kids (same book, but just much quicker to read). It will change the way you think about food, and you'll be so much healthier.
