I just read that Kona Gold was euthanized Friday after suffering a pasture accident at the Hall of Champions at Ky. Horse Park, where he has lived since 2007. Friday morning he was found with a spiral fracture in his forearm. He was only 14. I got to visit with him this year at Rolex and he was SUCH a handsome devil. RIP Kona Gold.

kaidensmom: Any stories or experience with a horse with strangles that is SOB? Gelding is currently hospitalized. On Penicillin and wasn't getting better so the vet just started horse on IV doses of DMSO. The abcesses are pharyngeal. Mar 13, 2017 22:41:03 GMT -5
