It is my understanding based on what I have read on the internet ( yeah...I KNOW ) that in the U.S. you can buy omeprazole without a script ? If so...has anyone bought from omeprazoledirect.com? They offer 700mg tablets, 112 of them for $139.95 This sounds far too good to be true from my experience here in Canada where a 30 day course from the vet runs over $1500. Any experiences or information? Thanks.

No experience with that company, but you can buy omeprazole over-the-counter here for human use. I don't know if you'd save any money, though, by the time you bought enough of a dosage for a horse.

I wouldn't waste any money on treating a horse with generic omeprazole......if you need it, Gastroguard is the only way to go.
