***UPDATE 9-15-09***** Due to circumstances beyond his control Peace Emblem is now available again. The groom who took him has apparently taken too many free horses (understandably easy to do) and is a bit overwhelmed. Trainer Jay Bernadini felt it was in Peace Emblem's best interest to take him back and then sell him to insure he didn't board a bus to Canada and the meat man. ************* The trainer gave Peace Emblem to one of his grooms today. ************ Peace Emblem is a 2001 model dark bay or brown gelding who does not crib or weave. He is a mild stall walker at the track. Not to be raced - priced at $500 for fast sale. Located 5 minutes from Mountaineer Park, zip 26050. This son of Our Emblem has a pedigree full of notable sport horse sires including Private Account, Damascus (x2), Cox's Ridge, Sir Gaylord, Buckfinder etc. www.pedigreequery.com/peace+emblem2Pics coming soon - email Jpizzurro##*at*##comcast**##.## net for more info, removing ## and **.

Measuring 16.0 3/4," this dappled dark bay gelding is standing downhill in his left facing pictures. A son of Our Emblem, this well bred fellow was priced at $500 for a quick sale before I saw him in person - if I had seen him before that I would have recommended they advertise him for at least $1k. Buy him now and "flip" him for a quick profit! This is a very nice, stout, classy individual capable of handling a larger rider. Please note he is facing downhill in his left facing pics. Suitable for all disciplines, Peace retires sound after earning $200k+ on the racetrack. He does not crib or weave but he is a slight stall walker at the track. Thanks Jen! I have secretly been imagining him as my own personal riding horse all day long since taking his pics, but Darren just bought a new horse today and I don't have any more room.... damn! This horse is all class. His good breeding definitely shows in his demeanor and attitude.

Someone needs to buy this horse so I can quit trying to figure out how to explain to my husband why there are now 9 horses to feed!

Due to circumstances beyond his control Peace Emblem is now available again.
The groom who took him has apparently taken on too many free horses (understandably easy to do these days) and Jay Bernadini felt it was in Peace Emblem's best interest to take him back and sell him privately.
He wants $500 for him - he is not to be raced and therefore comes with only a copy of his papers. Located at a training center 5 minutes from Mountaineer Park, zip 26050.
This is a NICE horse for the money, folks.

Kelly, you know Peace wants to come live with you. Your farm sounds like JUST the perfect place for him.
