Holy crapola! That's one cute pony! I bet he could be pretty fancy all slick and clipped up!
But I too have to vote for SMay's new mount ;D

Ok, you want to know how awful we are? No, I do not condone this. It looks like the little pony is being lunged over the jumps, but that is not so. We were running and jumping the jumps and he was running behind us. We had him on a long lead, and he never refused. I know 'BAD JOHNNIE!!'
Yes, I think he will be gorgeous once he is cleaned up. We've only put about 10 rides on him and he's only jumped 3-4 times, but he is such a saint. Anyway, that's why he's scraggly-he's just loafing around basically. He is supposed to do a little schooling if the weather holds out, so he will get cleaned up. None of us wants to pull that cute mane though.

Wish I had a pony like that! You could teach a kid the basics of Dressage with that extended trot! Most horses can't even do it! WOW! And I mean ... WOW! Wish I was small enough to ride him!

I think I would be safe on him....my feet would touch the ground, right? OK, that would keep me nice and steady in the saddle I think! That little guy has a REALLY cute jump! Lookit those knees! I loff him.

What!?! You're running the course WITH HIM? This is not an agility dog!!!! This is an eventer! He's so adorable!
Next set of phots, we want to see JOHNNIE going over the jumps! I bet you tuck and spring beautifully, dear. :hahaha:

Well, I voted for eventer because I think that pony is just TOO flashy for the hunter ring. They won't know what to do with him! How cute. Of course, SMay might be a good match too!

MY Pony Twister, except for the spots? Twister is even trying to MAKE some pinto spots by lying in the wet spot of his stall to get a nice permanent stain!

We run and jump over the jumps too, and Twister ALWAYS follows right along...he relishes his role as a leadline pony, and he will follow me anywhere, without a lead.... So Caroline has had her first jumping experiences by me "galloping" the course and the pony just follows! He won't lunge over jumps as well....he stops a lot. He'll be fine though as soon as Caroline learns to give him his head and goose him a little right before the jump... she doesn't ride well enough to keep him going over jumps yet! But lunging over jumps is hard if you have standards getting in the way! I like doing it the agility way!

He's so darned cute! I voted for S.May's new mount (heehee) but I think you need to add an "agility pony" category to that poll!
Looking forward to the Johnnie Jumping pics!

*points to SMay* she staretd it..lol. Ok, so the people had a rail down on the barrels a few times, and that damn wall was almost the end of it...lol. The pony was great though! Let's just say I'm a bad jumper. Split, hanging leg, it's horrible, but my conformation does nothing to help me . SMay, that Twister is one cute pony!! I think he's a little bigger than Petey. I l-o-f-f his "roaning" though..hee hee. I tried to go back and add agility pony, just for Christi, but it wouldn't let me. *sigh* I think he would be an adorable Eventing pony, but let's face it, even though he could clear Novice jumps, he would NEVER make the time. I think he is bound for the Hunter ring, or SMay or Brisco's home. Christi, doesn't Nathan need a pony?

Sure, Nathan needs a pony. But Mommy needs a million dollars and a maid first! I'm so tired of being BROKE!!!

Poor Christi. I wish you guys lived closer. Last year we were looking to place some older ponies that were still ridable, but didn't need to be lesson ponies anymore. It was kind of hard to find homes for them because they were old, so not the prettiest of ponies, and our barn retains ownership of them, which some people did not like. We have to do that for the ponies well-being though. Anyway, any one of these guys would have been great for Nathan. We have 2 who may be retired this year (both in their 20's) and one is a registered Welsh. If we decide to find them a retirement home, would like for me to let you know? It's basically a free lease.
