I don't know Forrest vaccination history. I have started the worming process ect.. My question being, would you stick him now or wait a few months until fall? I don't want to throw to much at him as he is very thin and just readjusting and learning to be a horse.Wwyd?

If he's super skinny you might want to wait until he's in better health. Personally I would just assume he was never vaccinated and do what you need to do for your area. Most trainers only do what is required to get onto the track. Which means a current coggins and typically a vaccination for equine herpes (EVH-1). Each track is different but so far that is all I've ever heard of tracks requiring....and not all of them require it.

I start with worming but wait a month or two before I do anything else as they are already stressed from moving and I don't want to add to it. I always assume they have had the bare minimum at the track.

What if it I were in your "shoes" with a new horse whose vaccinaton history was in question, regardless the worming process has been started, I'd definitely go ahead and start the vaccinations, because in this horse's case his resistance to any infectious diseases may well be compromised by his weakened condition. Been there, done that...

Thanks for the input . I am going to consult the vet. While he seems to be settling nicely and now has a buddy I don't want to put on him more than he can stand. He has thus far handled the worming process w/ ease and seems well and happy.
