Here is Mike Huber and Invictus. They won the CCI*. Hillary Sibley and Martian Tiger. This horse has a HUGE jump, and it seems a bit unorthodox. I don't know how she stays on. They also suspect that this horse has X factor. Rainey Sealy and Montana Native for all you color fanatics. Kim Vinoski and He's Got Rhythm again...

Ok, what is the X-factor? I read up on it awhile ago but I forgot.

X-factor has something to do with inherited heart size. Gives new meaning to the expression, "That horse is all heart!"

However, in this case, it looks like the X-factor would indicate the presence of ROCKETS in the REAR! Jeez oH Pete, that horse can fly!!

HAHAHA that X-factor horse has his hind legs all tucked up underneath him over that jump!! I don't envy his rider I love that paint horse though. NICE! (or is he a pinto? I never know which is which...)

Ok, now it rings a bell. That horse has an expression of "This is to easy." *yawn*

When he lived in Indiana. ;D I was Jo's coach when she first started Montana at Prelim. He was always an awesome horse, and quite a personality. I've followed his career & rooted for him as he's gone on. I'm glad to see Rainey enjoying him & vice versa, it's good to see him still going! He's a tough little horse with a incredible desire to work for his rider!

Yes, they think he has the large heart genes.
Niaru-they had him as a Paint/TB/SB in the program. I think the diff in Paint and Pinto is that Paints come from 2 registered Paint, TB, or QH parents and a Pinto can be any breed.
LeeAnn- I think Rainey and he placed 2nd or 3rd in the CCI**. I know they were in the top 5.
I have a few more photos of Hilary and Martian Tiger. I'll have to post them. When they announced the name I was like, I don't know them, I'm not taking pictures. Then the horse went over the first jump and I HAD to get pictures.
I also wanted to mention that Montana Native is 16 and Martian Tiger is 14, and they are still going strong.

He's come back from two injuries that would have been career ending on most horses. He bowed a tendon and then a year or two later he fractured his coffin bone (hind leg, oddly enough). Jo completed Rolex (in 2000? 2001?) on him after both those injuries. He's the kind of horse you wish you could clone! Plus he's just cute as a bug in a rug.
