I have elected to wait until the fireworks are over before we turn out tonight . We now will have them on 2 sides of us in relative close proximity. I didn't worry about it so much in the past however, our small town now does its own 4th celebration. I am sooooooo ready for a nap.
Has the holiday changed your schedule?

Well , I am answering my own post .We started to turn out around 9:30 the first horse [mine] had just gone trough the gate and with a whistle and a boom the neighbors start setting off fireworks. Great just great . Halters were already off .He ran the length of the field [picture a 5 acre pasture in a perfect rectangle] came back through the gate to the adjoining paddock snorting and blowing. He came over stood beside me w/ the "what the heck was that all about look" on his face and then it was just over.He just stood there for a minute and got a few face rubs[his favorite]. The neighbors shot off about 5 more and he just stood there. Bless his heart . Then Zona and Fizz thought it was all for their glory and were flagging and snorting. But, were thankfully not running the field . Happy 4th!!
