I know people blame the economy but when you take on that many horses then reality is unless you are pretty wealthy you probably can't afford to take care of them properly. But to say the stallion got loose and some of the breedings were unplanned is ridiculous. I wonder if he is a stallion that is worthy of breeding -maybe he should be a gelding.

Just wanted to update on these guys again...apparently, all the rescued horses have been signed over to Happy Trails (so they don't go back to the original abusive owner! Yay!) and are available for adoption! happytrailsfarm.org/artman/publish/article_313.shtml
