A trainer asked for helping in placing a gelding he's got. I'm in the process of getting more info and pictures. What I know is that he is 6 years old and bay around 15.3 hands. He has a slab fracture to his knee that is NOT displaced. The trainer says he has films for anyone who wants them and this horse acts like nothing is wrong with him. He probably needs another 6-8 weeks before returning to work. He should be sound to do pretty much anything but upper level stuff. The trainer really likes this horse but is moving back to Canada in two weeks and needs to find him a home. He's located at a training center close to Mountaineer. Please contact me here or by email if you are interested. jenarby@hughes.net

Jenarby--might be worth a shot to see if Adena would take him back.

cool pedigree, he's very closely related to Smarty Jones (their dams are half sisters!) so that makes him Smarty's cousin...

Nidas use to race 2F up here at the Fort. He's got speed, so probably would make a great games or barrel horse once fully rested, healed, and started back slowly.
