No one asked you to leave Kim. no one at all. I'm sorry that you feel you can't post any longer.

You have been not asked to stop participating here with us on Ex-Racers. Only if your conscience indicates you leave, then so be it, but we honestly care for each and every member and their horse's well-being. "And that's the truth"!!!!!!!!!!!

racehorsegal... I'll just add that horses sometimes develop nosebleeds if they have been on bute (anti-inflammatory drug) for a long time, or if they have whacked their heads, or if they have a sinus problem. IME, walking and trotting even a very unfit horse is not enough to induce EIPH - it's typically related to racing speeds and serious work. I hope your vet will be able to get to the bottom of the problem soon.

So, I went to the vet yesterday and found out that he is not a bleeder. The vet said that he would like to exercise him to see whats happening with him so he did. and found that while though he was worked to a sweat at drill, that does not concern him as his nose bleed. After the scope and results, he found that his nose bleed had nothing to do with him getting sweaty, and furthermore that i did not cause a bleeder.
The reason apache had a nose bleed is because he coughed several times very hard and broke a blood vessel not in or around the lungs. He said some times that can happen with a horse if it coughs hard enough and could have a minute sinus infection. But in this case Apache has nothing other than long hair lol...
Apache will be find and should not require any medicines for his condition because he feels the only thing wrong with him is an over reacting mom. Dr. Todd told me to continue working him daily as before....... and practice should have no bearing on him other than sweating.
So, I'm very happy, i asked him to go ahead and do a CBC and all was found to be in normal range.
So thank you for all the good replies. If i behave, I would love to stay on ex racers and continue posting. To those meanies, "please be nice I'm a sensitive girl" and i do have enough common sense to deal with any problem my horses should face. I just don't have the since to spell write lol. DID I SPELL THAT WRITE?
How come you cant do spell check when you post a reply?
If i stay i might be forced to give Big Tee a hard time." She is one tough cookie............" I sure don't want to tick her off again... thanks guys.... I mean that.

You have proven yourself to my way of thinking. Although the rough-cut of the starting of the thread lead to incriminations of the "3rd Dimension" your consequential last and next to last replies explain a lot of how much you do know and care about your horse.

I did not have a problem with your post RHG until I read this..... "So thank you for all the good replies. If i behave, I would love to stay on ex racers and continue posting. I don't like you calling anyone a meanie no more than you like to be told about the spelling. So I don't think it is funny that you "might" be forced to give Big Tee a hard time. Let's just all get along. OKay? if you click on the reply button you will get a chance to do spell check. when you use the reply box it doesn't offer you that choice. I hope that is clear as mud? (sorry, my attempt at humor)
