This was sent to me about a horse at Mountaineer. The price is very neg. if the horse leaves quickly.

Super Nitro - five year old chestnut gelding, 15.3 hands, very stocky. He has a little bit of an old knee, is racing sound on it, trainer just needs to cut back on horses. Nitro can be a little strong while at the track but is safe and kind. Needs to go $600.00 OBO Crystal 304-374-7134

Any updates on this boy? I could go pick him up but it would have to be free and I'd have to get some help with retraining and then finding him a home. In other words I could go get him and feed and house him for a while. I'm just not set up to retrain - I'd have to hire a trainer and I can't afford that.

As far as I know this horse has not found a home. I know he could be purchased for around $200.00 - $300.00, but I'm not sure if he will be free (it's possible though).
