I was forwarded this email and just thought I would post the info in case anyone was interested. I do not know the owner personally she just seems desperate. This is all of the information provided. I believe she is in North Carolina.
"Please Help:? My name is Anita Scanlon, I am asking for some help with my Oldenburg Stallion: Scripture is a 1995 model. He is out of the sensational stallion Silver Lining. His dam was a tb named Callies baby.? My dilema started in Dec. when my 76 year old father fell ill, and became unable to tend to his own needs. I need to move in to take care of him forcing me to sell my 6 acre farm and part with several of my beloved animals. If you are interested in Scripture he is free to a loving home. Keep in mind he is a stallion that has produced some very beautiful athletic foals. One of his offspring was sold to a young girl that is actively eventing him, He has others that are also being shown. I have attatched pictures so you can see what he looks like. In the one picture my 9 year old son is holding him on the front porch of my home. Showing what wonderful temperment he has, the mares were just out of eyeshot. Please I am desperate to find this wonderful friend a home. My options are running short and I do NOT want to put him down. If you feel you can help me please call me at 704-322-1158 (cell) or 704-455-4866 and ask for Anita. If I am not there please leave a message and I will call you back... To all of you that own horses and consider them a part of your family you will know what a heart break this is to me and I would be eternally grateful for any help.. Anita"
