Anyone had any success with the slimfast diet? I've just started it today...I need to drop 25-30lbs or so. Basically it's a slimfast drink in the morning, fruit snack mid morning, drink and soup lunch, slimfast bar after lunch, 500 calorie dinner. The things that concern me are: the shakes are loaded wtih sugar (but oh so tasty!!) and the biggest meal of the day is at supper time before bed. Should I bother wasting my money on the gimmick or get back to weight watchers? I just love chocolate so much I feel like this could work for me haha!

I found EAS carb control drinks. They have 0 sugar, and 17g protien, and really keep you from getting hungry.

Weight Watchers 100% over Slim Fast. WW teaches you how to use real food in your real life, and how to make a lifestyle change.
Absolutely WW.

The only thing I hate about WW is that you have to put SO much thought into it...you almost have to become obsessed wtih dieting counting points and measuring stuff all the time. It's a little overwhelming (although I know it works I lost 30lbs on WW a couple years back). Maybe I need to just suck it up and start counting points! These slimfast shakes have 17g of sugar per can...sooo much sugar!

The thing about WW is that, yeah, you have to count all the stuff, but it becomes second nature after awhile. They have a new program out now - I'm not sure if it's still all about counting points or what. You might check into it.
Weight loss is HARD, no matter what you do. I wish I could take it off as easy as I put it on!

I lost a bunch of weight on Slim Fast a while back. I didn't really follow the diet, though... I had a shake for breakfast, a tiny salad for lunch w/ nonfat dressing and no extras (just lettuce, carrots, and cucumbers), and then whatever my parents made for dinner (I was living at home)- they eat healthy- usually some sort of chicken with broccoli or green beans.
I ended up losing like 15 lbs to fit into a prom dress.
